Exceptional retrospective of Alberto Giacometti

One of the greatest artists of the 20th century is exposed to the Lam. From 13 March to 11 June 2019, discover the exceptional retrospective of the sculptor, painter and cartoonist Alberto Giacometti, in collaboration with the Giacometti Foundation and the support of the MEL (European Metropolis of Lille).

More than 150 works will be gathered among which the most important sculptures, paintings and drawings of his work. You will follow Giacometti’s artistic path, his passions, his inspirations and the confrontations that enamoured his career: Egyptian Antiquity, African art, his meeting with André Breton or his friendly and intellectual relationship with Jacques Dupin, the artist’s first biographer.
